Our fourth annual celebration to honor the people of Western North Carolina who gave up their homes, land and way of life so that World War II could be won. Hosted by Fontana Village Resort, The Proctor Revival Organization and GREAT (Graham Revitalization Economic Action Team).
Mother's Day Weekend

The Freight Hoppers - Band Performance
Based out of the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, The Freight Hoppers draw from a deep source of rural southern music for their inspiration. They play hard driving old time music with an emotional, raw excitement that keeps one foot planted in the past and the other in the present. They are proud to present music that is still very much alive and meaningful to today's world! Wildwood Sundeck from 8:30pm - 11:00pm or the Events Hall in case of rain.
Granville Automatic - Band Performance

Granville Automatic has created a quiet and lyrical sound devoted to telling stories from the past. Writing songs of sorrow and perseverance about topics such as history and war have helped give them their unique sound. Granville Automatic loves the road - clocking as many as 200 dates across America each year. The duo has played at Hotel Café in Los Angeles, the Tin Angel and World Café Live in Philadelphia, the Bitter End and the Living Room in New York City, Momo's in Austin, Eddie's Attic in Atlanta and are favorites at Pappy and Harriet's near Joshua Tree, California. They've played BMI's Acoustic Lounge in Los Angeles and appeared on Mississippi Public Broadcasting's Thacker Mountain Radio and NBC Atlanta's Morning Show.Events Hall from 7:00pm - 8:30pm.
Fontana 2014 Classic Bass Tournament

Join other anglers from throughout the southeast for the most exciting bass fishing tournament in the Smokies. More information and registration is available here
Independence Day Celebration
July 3 - July 6
Join us in a weeklong celebration of everything that made America the great nation that she is. There will field & water games, hometown parade, boating, BBQ cookouts and much, much more. Experience the best fireworks ever on the Village Green. Live entertainment throughout the weekend! Fireworks will begin on the 4th at 10:00 pm.

The Dam Race
5K & 10K Foot Racing At Fontana Dam
Compete with other racers in 5K and 10K races along the shores of the historic Little Tennessee River below Fontana Dam in the Great Smoky Mountains on a relatively flat course. Races will be bracketed in 5 year divisions for both male and female participants. A “One Mile Fun Run” will be available for all ages. Enjoy a full day of outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, zip line canopy tours, hiking, boating and everything else the Smokies have to offer. Relax in the evening at Fontana Village with dinner and live music.

LakeAlooza Party On Fontana Lake with Fireworks

Our fifth annual LakeAlooza Lake Party on Fontana Lake. Join us on Saturday, August 30th for live musical entertainment, lake games, cookouts and much more on the docks of the Marina! Don't miss the best fireworks in the Smokies on the Village Green, Saturday at 10:00pm.
Fall Hike Week At Fontana
