Get geared up with everything from pickleball paddles to disc golf essentials, rent a mountain bike or cruise around the village in a golf cart, join forces with local guides for trail excursions or get insider tips on the best off-road paths. Fun in all four seasons! Daily rotating activities include campfires and marshmallow roasts, live music, arts & crafts, outdoor movies, and more.
Marina Rentals
Explore miles and miles of breathtaking shoreline with a pontoon or fishing boat rental, or set off on a chartered scenic lake cruise.
Golf Cart Rentals
The most convenient and fun way to get around Fontana Village. Golf Carts are available for rental by the hour, for the day, or by the week.
18-Hole Mini Golf Course
Fun for the entire family! This unique course features steep inclines and a few challenging holes, but is perfect for all levels and all players.
Arcade
The arcade is filled with new and classic games like Big Buck Hunter Reloaded, Jurassic Park Arcade, and Air Hockey and Pool tables, and more.
Hiking & Mountain Biking Trails
Fontana Village maintains more than 20 miles of hiking and biking trails, many of which are pet-friendly. And of course, the AT crosses over Fontana Dam!
Full Disc Golf Course
Bring your best game, and let it fly! This course is renowned not only for its long drives and unique hazards, but also for its beauty as it winds through the forest.
Stone Creek Pool & Lazy River
Play under the mushroom fountains, float down the Lazy River, or just catch a little sun while sipping on a festive beverage from the snack bar. Open seasonally.
Mountain Bike Rentals
The ultimate North Carolina activity. Hourly mountain bike rentals are affordable and fun for all. (PS: helmets are required).
Horseback Riding
Saddle up for an unforgettable adventure! The Fontana Village Horseback Riding Stable is located across the street from the Marina, offering hourly trail rides and mountain memories. Stables are open seasonally.
Tennis and Pickleball Courts
Game, set, match! Meet on the courts for an exhilarating game of tennis or pickleball. Rackets are available to rent.
E-Bike Rentals
Take to one of Fontana Village’s many trails, or simply scoot around the Resort on an E-Bike. Available to rent hourly (and PS: helmets are required).
